251

Early Maturity Hybrid Grain Sorghum

251 fits well in the early sorghum areas of the High Plains. It works very well as a double crop sorghum or for late planting in southern sorghum areas. Excellent drought tolerance allows for planting in the more arid areas where rainfall is less predictable. Emergence is excellent so it can be planted earlier in the season however best results are always when soil temperatures are 60°F or above. In areas of the High Plains where maturity permits, early planting allows for double cropping back to wheat.
