SS304

SS304 has a sweet, juicy stalk and is a medium-full maturing hybrid with high yield performance. It can be used for hay, grazing or silage. It is adapted to many soils and growing conditions from Texas through the Central and Northern Great Plains, except for the shorter, cooler growing seasons. It is about 10′-12′ in height and has good standability. SS304 tolerates drought stress well. In some areas, it can be grown for bio-mass ethanol production.
